Kelly Leonard is an author, keynote speaker, consultant, award-winning CEO, and former Fortune 100 Executive. A certified public accountant (inactive) and corporate trainer with 25+ years serving government, non-profit, private and public industries, Kelly has an innate ability to connect with diverse audiences across disciplines. 

Prior to becoming CEO of Taylor-Leonard Corporation (T-LC), Kelly held leadership positions with GE Capital, Kaiser Permanente, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.  Currently, Kelly oversees Kelly Leonard Consulting; a division of T-LC that helps business leaders leverage LinkedIn to accelerate professional brands and powerfully communicate with their ideal markets.  Through her trademarked B.O.O.S.T.® methodology, Kelly has successfully helped thousands of business leaders increase revenue, build profitable strategic partnerships, connect with new clients, land dream jobs, and more. 

 

Although Kelly’s clients include government agencies, non-profits, and publicly traded companies, she is most passionate about leveraging the best practices of multinational enterprises to influence and positively impact entrepreneurs and small businesses.

As Host of the Small Business Network, Kelly partners with Montgomery Community Media, M&T Bank, Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation, and the US Small Business Administration’s District Office to lead a monthly television program that brings business leaders together to connect, collaborate, and communicate the best practices that stimulate regional economic development. 

Through a partnership with Nehemiah Project; a global non-profit training and coaching enterprise that provides access to capital, Kelly helps Christian business leaders in Metro Washington, DC create and expand values based businesses that provide positive individual, community, and societal transformation.

Kelly maintains professional affiliations with Leadership Montgomery (Core 2017), Maryland Black Chamber of Commerce, the Montgomery County Black Business Council, Rockville Chamber of Commerce, and Empower Montgomery. 

A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business, Kelly and her husband, Jerome, live in Montgomery County, Maryland and have two teenagers, Gabriel and Taylor.
