On Tuesday, January 12th, 1982 Walter was licensed to preach the gospel by the Calvary Baptist Church in San Diego, California, which at the time was under the leadership of Pastor Dr. S.M. Lockridge. Encouraged my his "Father in the Gospel", Dr. S.M. Lockridge, Walter graduated from the United States International University, now Alliant International University, with a Master's degree in Business Administration in 1983. Walter B. Hoye II travels around the country and the world, full time, to convey a unique pro-life message only he can share. He is a widely requested speaker who addresses the "Pro-Life Movement" with special emphasis on the impact of "Abortion in the Black America", "Personhood" and the "Role of Men Meeting the Physical and Spiritual Needs of Women". Walter strongly believes … "The church must be reminded that it is not the master or the servant of the state, but rather the conscience of the state. It must be the guide and the critic of the state, and never its tool. If the church does not recapture its prophetic zeal, it will become an irrelevant social club without moral or spiritual authority." — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Strength to Love, 1963.
As a National Black Pro-Life leader, Walter speaks for those who have no voice, understands that abortion takes the life of a child, an innocent human being, views the woman and child as one and demands men embrace their biblical roles as protector and provider.
